What is Meditation

Mediation is a natural process. You need to be relaxed in any comfortable position you can be in. Many people think that it is a religious practice. Meditation can be done on any belief whether it is positive or negative. We are talking here about attracting positive vibes and creating an aura of positivity around us.

Stop the Traffic

When starting for meditation you need to be in comfortable position. Not necessary to sit on the floor. You can sit in any position that doesn’t make you uncomfortable. Stop the thoughts coming in to your mind. When concentrating in meditation, it is better not to be distracted by any material objects, animals or anything that disturbs you.  It is quite natural that when we start meditation or even sits in a position to pray, we start getting flow of so many thoughts, ideas, regrets, memories and many other distractions. This is quite natural as our mind is trying to relax. We need to visualise nature’s beauty, sunrise, landscapes, beautiful experiences of mother nature.

Sleeping while Meditation

Meditation relaxes our muscles throughout our body and also relaxes our nerves. It is very common that people experience sleep during meditation. This happens during beginning stages of meditation. As we practice everyday we get better experiences and we visualise the positivity around us and we don’t get any sleep issues.

Guided Meditation

Guided meditation is a process where we take the support of music or someone more experienced. Many people either use music, speech to help them meditate. This helps stop the thought process and help focus on connecting with qualities we possess naturally. Many people get frustrated if someone distracts them or try to convince others and get upset when someone disagree the way they practice or do meditation. There are many ways to practice meditation and as long as it makes us feel better, inspiring, self motivated and give us a courage to help others, meditation is the best experience of human life. Humanity is suffering so many challenges because we are focused so much on outside world. Understanding ourselves first through meditation changes the perception. Meditation can be done with half open eyes. Completely closed eyes can trigger sleep early. When the eyes are half open, we are aware of our surroundings and still experiencing the bliss.

This is our true nature

Reading books in library or in a  quiet place. Concentrating on finishing a project or a sport are also some kind of examples. Meditation is also a natural process but it is the roots of all the successes humans can have through material world. Here are few techniques alongside using music or guided meditation.

3. Using a point of light.

4. Experiencing happy moments.

5. Visualising & experiencing landscapes, waterfalls , sunrise, sunsets or natural world.
